In this blog, I (Thomas Cauvin) will discuss, explore, and ask your input regarding the different ways we can teach and learn public history. Initially based on my Public History textbook, my posts will cover topics such as historic preservation, archives, oral history, digital public history, ethics, public policy … and many more.

Feel free to add to the list of topics (in your comments).

The post will connect theory and practice, will present the different issues at stake, will provide some resources (mostly online), and – if possible – include short interviews with experts (academics and/or practitioners) in the field.

First post coming soon: What is Public History?
